Even in the metro Atlanta, where Cain hangs his hat cowboy black Republicans are in a mad race to see who is the man.
The presidential candidate of the GOP surge, of course, was raised in Atlanta. Yet Cain left soon after graduating from Morehouse College in 1967 and did not recover in the metropolitan area until 2000, after a career in business major.
