Weekend
I'm in the basement right now, I just unburied the computer I wanted to use for Seti@Home and install Linux on. (Compaq Presario 4505). The case is unbelievably dirty, I really need to give the thing a scrub when I get home, and is very tiny. I might go to the mall again and buy another Card Fan lol, though I'm not sure. The door that goes in front of the CD-ROM drive looks like it's broken off, though it never came with it when my dad got it (forgot where he got it from). I just cleared the clump of dust that you see in the back of the PSU, as I studied the photo and noticed it. It was so disgusting. I've found an eBay auction on one that is comperable to this one, I think it's the same stats and all. See this auction. All that I can remember is that it runs Windows 95 atm. Too lazy to plug it in and see. I need to put a NIC card in, because it doesn't have one. There's only one PCI slot in the back, the other two are ISA's. The thing is a bit stupid because there is no power switch on the front, you actually have to turn the unit on by flicking the switch on the PSU in the back. Tomorrow is a bit unplanned, as I don't know what we'll be doing. I know that I want to cash the check I got from Katie in the mail, it's written for $50.00. I should probably take it in hand instead of depositing it in the bank. My dad says that he's got a lot of things to do around here, so I guess this is going to be a boring weekend.
