Sunday deals are up! (Sept. 4-10)

The sales and deals are a bit light because of the holiday weekend but whenever stores are giving you chocolate, it's a great deals week in my book! And that's exactly what's going on at CVS this week with Air Delights candy bars.

Edge or Skintimate shave gel or cream: $1.99 - .75/1 printable coupon or $1.50/1 printable coupon (no longer available) or .55/1 coupon (7/24 Smart Source) = as low as 49 cents!

Keebler Granola Fudge bars: 2/$5 - $2 Extra Bucks - two .75/1 coupons (7/10 Red Plum) = 2/$1.50 or 75 cents each. A very good deal. But hurry, those Red Plum coupons expire today (Sunday).

Listerine (16.9 oz.): $2.99 - $1 Extra Bucks = $1.99. Limit 2.

Deal idea #1: Use the .50/1 coupon (1/9 Smart Source 1 or 7/31 Smart Source) = $1.49. Deal idea #2: Buy 2 - $1.50/2 coupon (7/31 Smart Source) = $1.24 each. A nice deal if you need to restock your mouthwash supplies.

I agree with Moola Saving Mom. Also, I make a photo copy of everything and write on the copy the date I mailed it and the amount I an expecting for the rebate. I glance at this file every so often to see what I have not gotten back yet. Make sure you read the rebate instructions to the letter…you don't want to give them any reason to reject you. Last, get your couponing friends to help you always be on the lookout for rebates and pick up multiple copies to share. That is what my friends and I do – don't go crazy and take 20 forms b/c you can only do one per household anyway! Just make it a small group effort to scout them out, as they are often hard to find!
